Dear Sruli:
I wanted to thank you for your truly excellent tours that you have provided over the years to my family. We have used your services several times over the past 2 years. We have toured in and around Jerusalem, as well as extensive overnight trips to the Northern parts of Israel and the Southern areas as well. We have traveled with you and our young children in a small group as well as having you guide us in larger extended-family group. Each and every time, our experience has been the same. Your guidance has been insightful, well planned, patient (especially with the younger members of our groups) and, overall, extremely enjoyable. Whether it was hiking and jeeping through the Judean Desert, splashing in the springs of the Galil, exploring ancient cities, riding camelback or climbing mountains, you have helped create unique and memorable experiences for myself and our children. Your keen knowledge of ancient history, geology and topography adds to the experience. The kids constantly refer to our guided trips when learning in school or studying the Parsha. You have succeeded in bringing the stories to life so that they can visualize what they are actually studying in yeshiva many months after we returned home from our trips. We can't wait until our next visit to Israel and see what creative trips you have in planned. Many thanks and continued success!
Sincerely,
Sruli Glaser

Sruli,
Now that we are back home, I wanted to send you a note about our trip.
Adina and I were thrilled with the three days we spent with you in and around Jerusalem. It is clear that you have vast knowledge, but many people know a lot of Israel's history. What made the experience special was your manner and attitude (not to mention the babysitting and sheirut referrals).
You were terrific with the kids. Moshe is often reluctant to communicate, even with people he has known his whole life. You were able to engage him from the first stop overlooking Jerusalem all the way through the Bar Kochba caves and the drive back to the hotel three days later.
You also were prepared to be an extra pair of hands. I don't have to tell you what it is like to manage four young children. When a stroller needed to be shlepped up the stairs, you didn't hesitate to grab it.
You held the baby, took Avi's hand or sat in the back of the van with Moshe and Etan. To me, that was above and beyond the call of duty and made the trip easier and more enjoyable for everyone.
In the end, we had a terrific time and you were a major reason. We will look forward to getting together with you again on our next trip.

Dear Sruli,
Please accept my sincerest apologies for not having emailed you before now. We've been back in the States for 2 weeks now and I'm just starting to feel as if I can come up for a little air. And the reason that I have to apologize is because you were such a huge part of our trip and the kids keep talking about you and the places you showed us ".... Sruli said this and Sruli said that..." You made a huge impression on them and they really benefited from your tremendous wealth of knowledge of Tanach, Mishna, Gemara and modern day Israeli history, the breadth of which was absolutely astounding to me. I was looking at a kid's picture book of Israel with my daughter earlier today and it was such a good feeling to say to her "Remember we were there!" Thanks also for calling us on Erev Yomtov. I would have thought that you were totally sick of us by then. Jeffrey apologizes in case he was a little out of it when you called as I believe he had been sleeping and was also quite surprised to hear from you. I have already told a few people about you and will most definitely forward your name. You really brought all the kids have learned to life for them, just as you had promised.
Hope that your Pesach was beautiful and that your wife is doing well. If the baby wasn't born yet ... bsha'ah tovah, and if the baby was born already then ... MAZAL TOV!
Once again, thanks for your personal attention to all the details of our tours and we hope that we can avail you of your services again in the near futre. And if by some slight chance you are in the States or need something on this end, please feel free to be in touch (even just to say hi) as you are now officialy (for better or for worse) part of the family!

Shalom, Sruli,
Home is cozy and it's home; I'm closer to my son in College but I miss Israel. It was wonderful and your guiding was much appreciated. A true learning experience, inspiring and educational.
That afternoon and evening at Massada was tremedous. Next time we'll pray on top of the hill or slope. Hopefully they will continue to find seforim, etc ...
You'd mentioned there were some items or info you would send. I'll be glad to receive it. If it's an attachment, a simple attached word doc file is easiest for me.
With best to you and your family,
Eugene Narrett
Sruli,
I miss you! I hope you are doing well & our prayers are with you. The trip to Israel was a fabulous trip for me & my family and you were a big reason why! I was dreading the trip before I went & afterwards I could only tell everyone what an amazing time I had. You had tremendous patience with us and that is a great quality. I hope that Israel clears out the enemy so you can live in peace.
All the best,
David Haddad
Dear Sruli,
First of all, thank you for adding so much to our wonderful trip to Israel. Your knowledge and warmth were so appreciated. We think about you often. It's funny, when I returned from Israel I felt lonely, like something was missing. I couldn't stop talking about the trip.
Warmest regards,
Debbie
Dear Sruli,
It was a pleasure spending the three days with you over chol hamoed and we thank you for all the knowledge and information you shared with us. The boys had a wonderful time and learned so much. We are so glad that everything worked out.
Wishing you all the best.

Sruli:
We have been reviewing the approximate 675 pictures I took during our recent trip, and these have brought back fond memories of our time with you. I know it has all been said before, but we thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with you. Your expertise in so many areas made the trip that much more educational. By the way, I recently saw a show on public television here about the Dead Sea, which echoed everything you had said and all the current concerns about it. As a matter of follow-up, Sharon's mother is recuperating fine and has now given up the walker for a cane. She too thoroughly enjoyed herself. Hope this finds you and your family well. Look forward to seeing you again, soon.

Dear Sruli,
The Tour Guide Sruli Jacobson was great from beginning to end. The beginning was 6 months before the trip. He and I spoke on the phone every week planning every detail of the trip. Together we decided where to go and what to do. Sruli made suggestions based on my family, and we came up with a very fun filled itinerary. Sruli made all the arrangements and booked everything. Everything on the attached itinerary was booked through Sruli. Not only was he a great planner, and very thorough at that, but he was also a fantastic guide. He knew all the details and all the history. He tied in the Gemara, Navee, etc. He was not too religious for us, but yet perfect to the point where even Rabbi Mansour loved him. Additionally, Sruli has so many connections that he was able to take us to special locations that was normally closed off to the public. Sruli arranged every detail of our barbeque in the middle of the dessert at night. Sruli arranged Army boot camp training day. Sruli arranged horseback riding, and the planting of olive trees in the Hevron. Sruli arranged olive oil making for us at my request, even though it was not in season. Sruli arranged everything at the Orphanage where we sponsored an orphan's Bar Mitzvah celebration. He came through for us. Sruli even checked out and was my back up to Linda's restaurant selection. Sruli also had connections to get us in to see great rabbis.
I wanted a person on the bus with us to be an assistant. Sruli hired David Rose. David was a tremendous asset. He helped Sruli make all the arrangements. But moreover, David was the person who counted, paid, and got off the bus first to meet the facility upon our arrival. He called each location upon our approach. He called each restaurant before our arrival. He handled all the money. He allowed me to have a vacation. He was there by my wife's side the day of the Bar Mitzvah tending to her every need. David bought water every morning for the bus, and on the bus, he asked everyone every 20 minutes what they wanted to drink and eat. Because David was there, Sruli was able to focus on being a tour guide explaining everything and answering every question. David was invaluable.
Good Luck!

Hi Sruli,
Hope you are having a good week. We really enjoyed your professional tour of Israel.
You made us think a lot about living in Israel.
It has taken us 4 days to get over the jet lag. Thanks again.
Marsha and I will never forget the terrific experience you provided on this tour.

Dear Sruli,
THE KIDS STILL TALK ABOUT OUR TOUR ALL THE TIME, ACTUALLY JUST LAST WEEK AVIGDOR BROUGHT HOME FROM HIS SCHOOL LIBRARY "THE LITTLE MIDRASH SAYS" ON NAVI AND THE STORY OF DAVID AND GOLIAS WAS IN IT. THEY WERE ALL SO EXCITED TO READ IT AND RETELL THE STORY ON THEIR OWN!
SRULI IT DOESN'T GO BY A MONTH WITHOUT MY CHILDREN SAYING SOMETHING LIKE SRULI TOLD US THAT WHEN WE WENT TOURING WITH HIM. STILL HAVE GREAT MEMORIES.
THANKS AGAIN FOR THE UNFORGETTABLE TOUR!!

Sruli,
I cannot tell you how much my parents enjoyed the time we spent with you, as did I, and we are all very appreciative of the sensitivity you displayed, and the help you provided them, with their arthritic difficulties. IY"H, we will have other opportunities to tour with you!
Thank you very much

Dear Sruli,
On behalf of myself and my entire family I would like to take this opportunity to let you know what a wonderful experience we had on our recent trip to Jerusalem on the occasion of our son Nathan's Bar-Mitzvah.
The trip was packed with excitement and fun, taking a tour each day with you to a very different and interesting location.
Each morning we looked forward to being picked up early from our hotel, headed out for a great adventure and some very interesting and fulfilling information.
The trips were very well balanced with both fun and education delivered in the right mix. Your ability to adapt to the different personalities and ages in the group was very well appreciated by each individual.
Besides having great tours each day, you built bonds of friendship, trust and respect. In such a short time we have all come to understand some of the long history of Israel and we have left with a love for it's people and it's land.
We all cannot thank you enough for all the genuine time you spent with us and hope that we can return back very soon to visit both you and Israel,
Best wishes,
Joseph, Betty, Albert, Pauline, Michael & Nathan Ades

Dear Moshe,
Moshe Hamburg was a fantastic tour guide. At first we weren't sure we needed a tour guide, but after we had a full day tour with Moshe, we decided on the spot to book another day. My children enjoyed it so much they were begging for more. Our trip to Israel was amazing and our tours with Moshe were definitely a high light, there is no way we could have had such an amazing experience on our own. Moshe's down to earth personality and love for Israel is contagious, I strongly recommend him!
